4Arm-PEG-VS is a homo-multi-functional PEG reagent with a thiol reactive vinylsulfone group on each arm. VS group selectively reacts with free thiol, SH, sulfhydryl or mercapto groups.
4Arm-PEG-VS can be used as crosslinkers for PEGylation of proteins and peptides, nanoparticle and so on.
The iron oxides nano-clusters were synthesized through a straight forward supercritical method. These nano-clusters have larger specific surface area thus are ideal filler for polymers. Our superparamagnetic nano-clusters could be dispersed in any non-polar solvents, such as hexane, chloroform or toluene. The nano-cluster could be applied into polymer to create flexible magnetic data storage device or polymer electromagnetic wave barrier.
The Ytterbium/Erbium doped NaYF4 nanoparticles were synthesized by a modified thermal-decomposition method. Currently this product is spherical with a diameter from 10-15nm. The particles were stabilized with hydrophobic properties and can be dispersed in hexane or any other non-polar solvents, such as toluene and cyclohexane, to form a stable single phase colloidal solution. The emission intensity is higher than most of the fluorescence dye and could be noticed by naked eyes under regular in-door environment. The life time of the particles are close to unlimited due to the special mechanism. The fluorescence can’t be quenched by heat, surface modification, UV exposure, acid/base or aggregation. The particles can be easily modified to hydrophilic surface.
