Carboxylated chitosan is a carboxylated modified chitosan. It has excellent moisturizing function very similar to hyaluronic acid (HA). It is suitable for moisturizers, shower gels, facial cleansers, lotions, and colloidal cosmetics. It is also suitable for food preservatives, pharmaceutical carriers, and non-toxic adhesives. It has film-forming properties, and strong chelation of heavy metals.

Appearance: White or slightly yellow, colorless, amorphous translucent solid.
It is soluble in water, the solution is clear and transparent.
