The iron oxides nanoparticles were synthesized through a straight forward supercritical method then chemically modified to form a hydrophilic surface. These nanoparticles has perfect spherical shape and uniform size. Furthermore, The nanoparticles could be dispersed in any polar solvents, such as water, culture medium, hexane, chloroform or toluene, to form a clear, transparent and stable colloidal solution. These particles are ideal for peptide or protein modification, MRI contract reagent or any other biomedical application. Our particles were protected by duel layer of highly bio-compatible polymer which protect the particles from being oxidized or dissolved.
