Description
Collagen is the most widely used extracellular matrix (ECM) protein for cell culture, facilitating cell attachment, growth, differentiation, migration, and tissue morphogenesis. Type I collagen consists of two identical alpha 1 chains and one distinct alpha 2 chain, forming a triple helix formation known as tropocollagen.
